Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent, a 40-day period of reflection, preparation, and sacrifice before the celebration of Easter. Ash Wednesday derives its name from the practice of placing ashes on the foreheads of believers as a sign of mourning and repentance to God.
Join us virtually as we start our Lenten journey with our Ash Wednesday Service. The Rev. Dr. Cedrick Bridgeforth will offer a homily on sacrifice and service.
This is a community event so share the Zoom meeting ID (169 104 127) with family, friends and neighbors.
